We had booked a double room in February. When we arrived they had given it away. We were put in a 10 room dorm where the managers slept through the day and night on alternative shifts. Naughty bathroom, impossible to find, stupid staff, they dont have lockers, dont respect the cancellacion policy and make you pay the deposit even if you inform you are leaving 24 hours in advance. Avoid it at any cost. Spend some extra roubles staying elsewhere, you will not regret it. Ended up at this property accidentally. We first booked at the "Camelot Hostel", nicely located very close to the Kremlin but on the day previous to our arrival, received an email from the owners submitting their "new address". This hostel is terrible to find, its just an apartment block, dont expect to see a sign for it. The double room is advertised (on hostelbookers.com) as private ensuite, i expected a private bathroom but it was shared with everyone else in the hostel. The bathroom doesnt lock and the bath is filthy. There were no sheets on the bed... more
