Given the location and costs, this hotel is worth it. We stayed in a junior suite which gave us two rooms. Initially we saw a single room. It too would have been adequate. However, the junior suite was well worth the difference. The breakfast is extensive. The staff are very helpful. Many on the street do not know where it... more

This hotel impressed me with its poor services. There were two staff waiting by the door when I got off the taxi with luggages, they just kept talking without even opening the hotel doors for us. Every time we got out/ return to the hotel, the team of staff on duty in the lobby just kept talking without anyone taking... more

We booked a deluxe room but got upgraded to a VIP Suite so I'm not going to be complaining. We got our own hallway, huge sitting room with dining table (we never used), vast bedroom, full bathroom and another toilet. Two huge flatscreen TVs (with no channels worth watching!) All very old-fashioned idea of what 'luxury' means but certainly clean... more

nothing special really. booked a special via HRS, so price was ok. stayed 4 nights, spent almost no time in hotel except sleeping. room was big, bed good, bath clean, breakfast buffet ok/good, reception freindly. one thing though: had a room to the street. very quiet side street normally, but on fri&sat music from bar/club playing electro/house on main street... more

I stayed for 5 nights with my wife and teenage son. We had a junior suite A which had a separate bedroom and a refrigerator. Red Square/ Kremlin was an easy walk. Room was clean, water pressure and hot water good. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Food market, restaurants etc. close by. Located on a cross street, room was on 4th... more

Recently stayed total of 5 nights here and was very happy with choice. Hotel location is fantastic. Other nearby hotels are expensive. Budapest seems to be reasonably priced and is still very close to major attractions. Red Square is about a 10 minute walk. Breakfast buffet (included) was very good, complete with hot items. Beds don't seem like they would... more

We were at the Budapest Hotel for three nights. Checkin was efficient but perfunctory. For some reason we were upgraded, so the rooms were quite spacious. Furnishings were basic but all encompassing. Breakfast buffet was quite nice and comprehensive, and service there was friendly and responsive. We had a snack in the bar, which was also nice. Bathrooms were large,... more

Stayed here for three days in May/June 2009. Price was $150 per night, and at that price, this hotel cannot be beat. Five minutes walk from the Bolshoi and Metro, and 10 minutes walk to Red Square. Furniture a little dated, but everything was clean, and staff was very helpful and friendly. English speaking was not a problem. Lots of... more

First of all - location. It`s difficult to find the better one so close to Tverskaya, Red Square or Pushkin Square. The second advantage - still reasonable price for the room , if you book by the proper internet local site or local tour operator. The hotel is relatively small, like for the Russian standards, and thanks that gives minimum... more
