We have stayed at the Novatel more than 20 times ever since the hotel as opened. The hotel is clean and nice and modern. We have never heard any airplances taking off and landing, the sound insulations is good. The staff is very nice and those at the front dest speak good Emglish. Small and dingy rooms, decorated in 1950's style, with jets taking off all night long every 20 minutes. And, of course, you're still watched over by a floor monitor in Moscow, who all look like they're sent over from central casting with the heading "Nazi Matron."
