Just returned from the Saluyt. The hotel is not as bad as described if you get a room from the renovated floors. There is a free wi-fi but it is not safe if your virus detection software is not up-to-date. This is the worst conceivable hotel I've ever been to. Far away from downtown Moscow (you have to take bus+metro), appalling service (almost impossible to find an English speaking employee), traveller is seen more as a problem than a source of job. Large hotel situated approx 10Kms from central Moscow. Built in 1970's and hardly improved since then, it seems.
