I stayed at Vostok for one night while in Moscow to watch football and I was very happy with my choise. Vostok was pleasant and more importantly, very reasonably priced hotel in very, very expensive city (I paid 102USD for the night). The rooms were nice and comfortable if basic (but then again, if you want luxury, you are welcome to use the 600USD/night hotels there is hundreds in the city...).
The staff were helpful and spoke reasonably good English, room was clean and bathroom had all the amenities you need. Beds were comfortable and sheets clean.
Only critisism I have is the not very helpful instructions how to get there at the hotel website; I spent quite long at night trying to find it (I was using public transport rather than a taxi) so here's it in a nutshell; go to Vladykino metro station, turn right - there's a road that curves to right and walk until you come to big road.
