It was a bit shocking to see the building as I arrived at the place but it was alright as I walked in. Staff dont speak English. Luckily the receptionists speak a bit of 'Russian English'. I stayed at the Sapporo on 2 occasions. Second time for almost a month. August was unusually hot and the room didnot have a/c or a fan. Stayed here about 3 times. Of course not comparable with a 5 star in Paris, but definitely the best on Yuzhno Island. Excellent dinner. Average Breakfast. Good rooms although bathrooms look a bit outdated, but still charming. More intended for business travelers no need to say. more
