This was an excellent find. So close to everything and steps from the Hermitage. Also, I couldn't believe the cleanliness of this place. I noticed they have an in house cleaning staff that maintains the premises throughout the day and evening. Mind you, I stayed at the end of November, during the low season, so it's difficult to judge since there weren't as many people staying there. However, the kitchen was spotless, and since there is a supermarket across the street, it's easy to do your own cooking here (they don't provide breakfast). You are a few blocks to Church on Spilled Blood, Nevsky Prospect, and most of the major attractions.

It's also a sociable place. I met many other people here. One thing they could work on is having more English speakers at the front desk, but they were friendly about everything and the check in procedure is pretty easy. The hotel registers you for free and I got it back pretty fast.
