I agree with all that Karlycat says, other than I had no noise problem. Disclaimer: I communicated with her through Trip Advisor before my trip and she helped with information, but we are not connected otherwise.
Based on my stay, this review is not really necessary, because it is likely that you will have trouble booking anyway. The 7 rooms stayed occupied during my 8 day stay, mostly with Europeans, many Russians.
But for what it's worth, the hotel is in the best possible location, although it is near impossible to find if you don't know where it is. There is not neon marquee outside. Seriously, even taxi drivers who don't know of it will have problems with the location. Note that there are 2 Morskaya streets, and there is also another Acme hotel (affiliated). It is clean, comfortable, safe, good breakfast, and the best staff you will find anywhere. I loved the place, but good luck getting reservations. Definately worth a try. more
