The hotel is located minutes from Hermitage and you can walk to the attractions. Rooms are great and furniture is fabulous. It is converted from palace. The hotel does not have any good view though. We stayed at the Taleon Imperial for 4 nights on our summer vacation in Russia. It is a wonderful hotel. Service was uniformly excellent. Wow, this hotel is incredible. As a luxury traveler, I had contemplated all of the five-star options in St. Petersburg. I am so happy that I chose the Taleon Imperial. We stayed here our first night because we could not get a room in the hotel we wanted. In the end, we actually liked this hotel better. The room and the amenities were nicer.
