On Thu November 12 2009 I booked a room at Rinaldi Grechesky for Mon 16 November through an Internet booking agency. When I arrived on Monday, there was no answer to the doorbell, no-one answered the hotel phone. There was no information on the hotel door, so I thought maybe the only person working at the reception has had to somewhere I decided to wait for a moment. Soon I noticed some mail lying on the floor, and soon some friendly neighbours, who passed me, informed me that they had seen no action at the hotel for a few days. The hotel did not exist anymore!
I called the Internet booking agency, and complained about the non-existing hotel (they booked me another hotel and reimbursed my extra expenses).
Later on I asked the Internet booking agency how is it possible that they confirm me a room in the hotel that does not exist, or is about to wind up its operations. They found out that the hotel chain had not informed their agent, who in turn sold the rooms to he...
