Great location for this hotel close to historical sites, shops and restaurants. BUT... Does not deserve to be rated 4 star and should never be rated top 10 by tripadvisor visitors in my opinion. The bed's were rather uncomfortable. The bar upstairs was empty, & lounge bar filled with smoke. The room we had was very nice, and large. I would have preffered a more comfortable bed, but this was an issue at another 5* hotel in moscow, so it's possibly a european or just perhaps russian issue. great location, could stay here again. more

Stayed here in early August 2009, the second stay for my wife and my first time. As many have noted, the location is very convenient for many tourist venues. The room was clean and regular sized for Europe. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. I especially appreciated the free WiFi in the lobby areas. more
