Let's be clear. This hotel is not in a convenient location. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. The bus will take you to the main action. But the traffic is appalling when connecting to the Nevsky Prospekt so it is a 15+ minute ride... that sounds not much but it is wearisome by the third or fourth day.... more

Nice, simple hotel. I wouldn't recommend trying to get there late at night -- it's on a busy but sort of dark street and the entrance isn't terribly easy to find.
