I stayed at Downtown Hostel when another hostel was full but I was lucky that was the case. I had a very comfortable stay at Downtown Hostel, it was spacious, clean and I felt very taken care of. The atmosphere at the hostel was good, very friendly hospitable and social. I met many friendly fellow travellers in the kitchen. The staff were absolutely amazing, really took care of me, including my transportation to Lake Baikal and my train ticket to Moscow. more

Very friendly staff. Good location. Again more like a homestay than a real hostel. Only disadvantage: only two room with relatively many beds. Internet is available for a relatively small fee. more
