My husband and I stayed for 5 very long days at the Ob. The bathroom had no shower or tub, although it's what we had reserved and paid for to our travel agent back in the US. It's not exactly cheap. The desk clerk did not allow us to use the phone to call the travel agent and the nearest working phone is several blocks away at train station for which you need a phone card. Anyway, the desk clerk kept insisting our bathroom did have a shower even though it didn't. Finally after many trips downstairs to the desk clerk, she came upstairs, looked into the bathroom with no shower, insisted there was a shower somewhere in the ceiling! Many hours and tears, later, we were switched to a room with a shower. There was no hot water in the hotel for 4 days.
