Wi Fi not reliable. Great cafe (Grand Cafe) next door. Brief business trip to Volgograd. Stayed in a standard room (I guess...our local partners made the reservation), for a total of 3,000 Rubles (which included a 600 Ruble reservation charge...not passport registration, but reservation). Nice old communist style hotel, impressive restaurant looking like a ballroom (and probably used as a ballroom sometimes).
