this was a nice little bed and breakfast that had a feeling of a classy arabic home. the compound is residential and feels like any average middle class UK housing estate. you are free to come and go as you please from the bed and breakfast, it's clean, the breakfast is ok, mainly cereal and toast. the rooms differ in size but the one I had was very large with a fridge, walk in wardrobe and tv area. there is free internet and the restaurants on site are quite nice. the residents on the compound are very friendly, mainly brits, lots of couples, families and a few single men when I was there but that may have changed. you can sunbathe and wander round in your western clothes and the amemities are really good, big swimming pools, big gym, spa etc etc. i'd rather stay here than a hotel anyday although if you're looking for arabic culture i didn't see any of it on site but it's easily accessable and people will help you. security is naturally tight, lots of checkpoints to get through, but... more
