This is a mixed review hotel for me.... The Good: The location is good. Quite central. The front end staff are courteous and friendly. They give sweetened water to you when you check in. My stay was during the trade fair so all of the staff were overworked and the service was probably not as good as it could have been. Room was very large with lots of space. Service was average . It is everything you would expect from an international 5 star hotel (including the price). Fantastic service, clean & modern rooms, all the amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who can afford it, it's probably the best hotel in Guangzhou, especially if your western. more

I spent a total of 7 nights in Guangzhou recently, one at the Ritz Carlton, and four at the Jianguo hotel down the street from the Westin.
