I and my wife arrived in Guangzhou from Beijing on November 7, 2007. Our chinese contact told us to proceed to Tong Tsang Hotel to meet them but instead the taxi driver brought us to this hotel (Dongshan Hotel).

After so much confusion and discussions with the taxi driver, the staff from the front desk who speaks good english never wasted time to help us and even volunteered to call our chinese contacts to proceed to Dongshan hotel to meet us...

Even if we did not check-in at this hotel, we were well entertained.

This hotel is also a pick up station for buses going to Hongkong.

We were fortunate that we were brought to this hotel... more
