Typical chain hotel. Room smelt slightly musty/stale although was comfortable and clean enough. Overall felt a little dated. Guilin has plenty of reasonable places to eat so there was no need to try the hotel restaurant. This hotel is fine. Our (upgraded) room was modern , comfortable and fully equipped. and the public areas of the hotel seemed up to speed. This Sheraton reminded me of many Sheratons in the US. The high foyer and the glass elevator was the same design as many others.
