Guilin being very touristy I guess you get less for your money, and this hotel was not quite up to the same standard as the previous 4 star hotels we had been staying at in China. Stayed on the top floor so had a balcony. Air conditioning had to be set at 16-18 in order to get really cool. The safe was a handy feature. For breakfast you could get eggs cooked to order and one morning there were hard-boiled eggs as well. During an afternoon break from touring, went to the pool which was refreshing.... more

The location is great, but the hotelreally needs some improvements. Our room looked really old, no view and bathroom in non-optimal conditions. The A/C was quite noisy.
