My family and I booked our room online for a stay during the Chinese labor holiday. Upon arrival the hotel told us that the rate we booked at 270 RMB was incorrect and that we would have to pay the "holiday" fee of 680 RMB!!! Once we explained the situation- and they realized the fault was theirs they gave us a "discount" of 580 RMB!! The description says the hotel was redone in 2003, but the facilities are very dirty and dark. Not our idea of a 680 RMB hotel. We were disgusted to find that we had to argue for them to put any towels into our room without an extra fee. The carpet was dirty and the ceilings cracked. We were happy that it had a western toilet, but found that the water pressure did not allow for flushing. We had orginally booked for 2 days but left after the first. We will never visit this hotel again. The new name is Jin Pu hotel.
