Nice place but some room are from the main street, noisy. You want calm, ask for back rooms (unless you prefer the noise and the veiw of Bell Tower). The last floor rooms are the best. The restaurant and breakfast OK. more

FANTASTIC location, friendly staff, great breakfast, VERY hard beds but comfy pillows. The room could use a good clean. Only stayed one night but am eager to return and will be staying at the same hotel - love the location. more

great location. centre of everything. chinese retraunt on the 3rd floor very good. room was disgusting. had not been cleaned or bed changed since the previous occupant when we got keys. for two days we had to sleep on someone elses bed sheets as they would not change them. we even stripped the bed our selves and left the laundry... more

We arrived in Xi'an by overnight train from Beijing fairly early in the morning. The hotel was very easy to find (by cab), slap bang in the centre of Xi'an overlooking the Bell Tower. We were allowed an early check-in which was helpful but the rooms were tired, smelt of smoke and looked like they were in need of tlc.... more

Whatever you do, do not use the car service provided by the hotel, particularly if the guys name is Henry. He seems nice enough at first, but he is a rip off and will try to solicit you to go to Terracotta factories etc. Just take your own cab or bus and save the money. The guy is a ringpiece.... more
