The hotel is close to the train/bus station. There are several Chinese "fast food" restaurants across the street that provide good food and value. The hotel seemed huge and almost empty. First of all, staff did not speak almost any English (ok my fault, I should learn Chinese...) and it took them almost 15 minutes to fill in the requested data from the passport. Mouldy bathroom tiles. Leaking toilet pipe. Howling wind blowing out of hole from window cos of aircon tube. Woke up in middle of night by phone asking if we wanted a personal massage.
