A friendly place to stay. Great little cafe where we could have a change to Chinese food and meet other travellers. We stayed in a double rom which was small but very clean. I stayed in this Hostel. It was comfortable and exactly what you would expect from an hostel. Nice Cafe to sit in with wireless internet. Would stay there again when in China. more

The staff here are very friendly and kind, the problem is that they are just not very good at what they do. I was appalled to find that the reason is that they are basically students (Xi'an is known as a good place for studying English and tourism.) and so the majority of them work for free under so called... more

Our hostel has never and will never exploit workers. I have never heard of a "work experience program" and if there was one we wouldn't be apart of it. We do currently have TWO volunteers that work at our hostel for 4 to 6 hours per day and are given free accommodation and food. They are under NO contract and...

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in a double room with our own shower. We would not recommend this hostel for several reasons: 1.
