The location of the hotel is good, close to the Bell Tower in the heart of town. The rooms are a bit small, and "smoking" or "non-smoking" is actually the same. This hotel is newly remodeled, with trys at upscale "western" touches, such as the elevated glass sinks and comforters. Unfortunately, the sink never drained properly, the bath mat was covered in mildew, and the room is laid out so askew it's impossible to open your suitcase without lugging it onto the bed every time you need something. This hotel was chosen by our tour group operator. It is located near the Southgate. The room was clean, reasonably quiet, and had all the usual amenities.
