This hotel sounded really nice, and overall it was. The biggest problem was that it is out of hte way. It is on the far side of West Lake, on the other side of the mountain. There is a small area with lots of restaurants nearby which is nice, but its quite a ride to West Lake, or to downtown. Plus many cabs either do not want to go there or do not know how to get there.

The rooms are really nice, clean and comfortable, and while the staff does not have a great command of English, they are really eager to be helpful.

Overall this is a nice hotel and if you do not mind being out of the way, the view is beautiful, mountains and fields of tea plants fill the view. more
