Great location, right across from the lake. A bit pricey though for China. Good breakfast buffet and the staffs are attentive and friendly. Nice facilities with a large pool. Taxi is hard to get certain time of the day (30+ minutes wait). There are plenty of U.S. chain and local restaurants within a few blocks from the hotel. more

We find it strange that the bathtub is enclosed within the shower, but it doesn't affect the functionality of either. Great location, right by the lake with the shopping streets very close, including designer brands. The hotel has Bellagio style water fountains installed in the lake which play to the music, organized by the hotel. We stayed one night, 21st July 2009...to see the Solar Eclipse on 22nd ....would agree that some tired aspects, but still good value. Room was spacious and comfortable. The Hyatt Regency Hangzhou is a wonderful facility with excellent service at a beautiful location right on West Lake.
