Wow, these SSAW hotels are really an excellent value. For about $50 US (338 RMB) I got a queen bed in an extremely modern, clean room, with free internet access. You have to walk down a driveway to get to the entrance, but once there you'll realize how nice this place is. However, this is not a good place for... more

We booked this hotel to stay by the Huanglong stadium to be near the starting line for the Hangzhou marathon. We were expecting a fairly dull hotel for the price and were certainly greeted by a fairly dull hotel façade. Yet, the SSAW Yilian turned out to be a little jewel behind that façade. Nice hotel, nice bathroom, clean, large bed, free Internet, very close to the shops and the famous lake. Staff at reception very friendly and speak good English which is really nice in China. Great stay in Hangzhou. more
