We've stayed at this hotel every year for the last 5 years or so. Its clean has a nice breakfast and is very close to the JR Station. There are some good restaurants nearby and you can be at Sapporo Station in about 15 minutes or about 45 minutes to Otaru. The rooms are small by US standards but very clean. The staff speaks some English but they are helpful if you can speak some Japanese.

The Bus to Teine Highland stops in front of the hotel and the JR station is about a 2 minute walk, mostly inside which is very nice in the winter.

Overall its a nice clean Japanese business hotel.
