Stayed at Renaissance with my 2 kids for 2 nights during Snow Festival. We're quite disappointed about the location of the hotel as it's a bit far away (over the river) from the city centre and no restaurants around. Even though the hotel provide free shuttle bus to the Otori Park and JR Station, it depart every 1 hour after... more

We stayed in this hotel for one night. And have been sorry that we had to leave the next day. We have got the biggest room in my life!!! And Japan is not really famous for big hotel rooms... Special points: +++ amazingly big rooms ++ furniture and room interior ++ big and nice bathroom ++ perfect staff ++ free... more

Kind of lucked onto this hotel (booked only first night with points, but ended up staying 3 nights). From Chitose airport easily accessible with airport shuttle bus 24, which stops right in front. 10-15 minutes walk from city center and free hotel shuttle bus (shared with Novotel) to city and central railway station.
