This was a modern and beautiful hotel. The hotel sits right on the bay with gorgeous views of the hills, mountains, and countless islands that surround Hiroshima. The service was impeccable and for Japanese standards, our hotel room was HUGE! The hotel also has a wonderful spa with a natural spring and all the common services. If you can, please... more

Very small rooms, if you are European couple get ready for limited space. They’ve got several restaurants. Oriental restaurant proven to be good but be careful their menu is quite confusing. We were waiting for a duck for 30 min but got a duck skin. more

My husband, teen-aged son and I recently spent 2 nights at the Grand Prince in Hiroshima. We drove in and had no trouble finding it with the navigation system.(The free parking was quite nice) It is far from the city center but the bus is easy enough to use. It is very convenient for the ferry to Miyajima (which turned... more

It is a bit of a journey from the Train station on the 21 bus, and every venture into the city involves catching it. That is the one negative of the place. All the rest is good. The hotel is beside the water overlooking green islands and the ports. Our 4 bed room was at one corner of the triangular... more

I stayed here with my parents: the room (room for family) was very spacious and had a huge bathroom. The staff was gentle and the cleaning efficient. From the windows we could see the sea and the motoujina-park forest. The hotel was a little distant from the center, but with the bus 21-2 we could reach JR Hiroshima Station (30... more

My experience was the opposite of Jim Malloy's. We booked through Expedia and said we needed a room for 3 adults and a 16-year old. When we showed up, the guy said we had a room for three people total. This wouldn't do for us and I told the guy as much. He immediately went to his supervisor and upgraded... more

I arrived at nighttime and it took me a while to find the hotel. Actually it is bit far from downtown. However, this hotel located in front of the Inland Sea and had great views. The building is really nice. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean too. Overall I thought the place was very nice... more

First the bad news. If you stay at this hotel, it will cost you about $20 to get to Hiroshima by taxi. It will cost you another $20 to get back to the hotel. However, if you're, as we were, Americans visiting overnight to see the Peace Museum and various memorials, the Hiroshima Prince can be a good choice. First... more

We arrived by ferry in Hiroshima, and walked from the port to the hotel, which is right on the coast. Check-in was quick, and the view from our room was great. The room size was normal for Japan, but had everything that was needed and was very clean. Both western and traditional breakfast were offered and included in our rate,... more

We stayed at the Hiroshima Prince in Febuary 2006. We had booked for a party of 4, 2 staying 1 night and 2 staying for 2 nights. On arrival there was confusion at the desk over the allocation of rooms, this confusion continued over the 2 days and we were asked on 3 different occasions to confirm our arrangements. On... more
