It was only two nights, but the immediate stench of cigarette smoke filled our lungs as we got off the elevator onto the non smoking floor... Our room stunk of cigarette smoke which pumped out mainly from the air con unit. Great location, pretty expensive for 1/4 meter space around the beds and no place to put your luggage. Stayed at the B Kobe for 4 nights and found it a great hotel overall. Its location is about two blocks from the Hankyu train station and another few blocks to the JR station. The subway line access is in the adjacent building (Tokyu Hands department store). So overall, it's a pretty central location to the main lines of Kobe.... more
