For a Ryokan, you shouldn't be paying these prices. The staff are friendly, the rooms clean as you would expect, but I expected much more for the price e paid. Having to pay per person is surprising. If you want the ryokan experience, shop around a bit. If you can, visit a Ryokan in the Japan Alps for better value.

This was a very expensive but really disappointing ryokan. The location and very helpful staff are the only reasons to stay here. The rooms are large but depressing.
