Stayed here with my family (kids 6 and 9) two nights during new year 2012/2013. It was our first Ryokan experience and it was a very great introduction to traditional Japanese hospitality. i totally disagree with the earlier traveler. i actually stayed during cherry blossom time in 2010 so it was hard to find an available ryokan last minute. It was conveniently located and within walking distance of so many places (loved the manga museum). For its price, it gave the authentic experience with beautiful garden view for my room. The food...
