By Japanese standards this is probably a 4 star hotel. By western standards the rooms are smallish but roomy enough and very clean. The bathrooms are great. LOVE the heated toilet seats and the shower. There's an itty bitty refrigerator and lots of plugs to recharge electronics. Location is fantastic right in Kyoto station.
