This hotel is not as grand as its sister ANA in Tokyo but it is quite charming. The room was spacious and with great views to the Nijo Castle although it was a bit dated. All in all it is a good hotel for short stays. more

The bedrooms and some of the communal areas were relatively old fashioned in style but our room was a good size and kept clean. The hotel is right next to Nijo Castle and we managed to walk to most of the main sights. The price was very reasonable compared to others that we looked at. more

3 nights in this hotel was brilliant. Their free shuttle bus to Kyoto station saved us a heap on subway tickets. Across the road from Nijo Castle in a good area of town.
