would highly recommend matsubaya, walking distant from kyoto station and easy to find good map provided, although booked out it was quiet, futon very comfortble pillows good, recently refurbed, own bathroom and toilet, no hot spring bath here but we'd already done that in matsue and oki islands, owners were lovely. we would stay again. thanks for having us more
