We stayed only one night but we had a good nice sleep. Showers were clean. It was quiet. It was very cold in the guesthouse but you can heat your room with a heater. However other areas are cold. I stayed at the original Gojo guesthouse cafe and not the annex one. There were many great points about this place. one being the services and facilities they provided. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful. You could also hire bikes there for only 500yen a day. it was very worth it. it made the whole kyoto experience... more

Lovely traditional japanese house in heart of Kyoto. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Good sized kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Triple room was big enough for family of 4. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended. Tip: make sure you have printed map for taxi driver. more
