This is not meant for chunky butts. No offense to anyone but the beds are tiny. If u are over weight good for one person. The room can only fit a single bed, even though they say two. Free breakfast. Their is a subway sandwich shop n other resto near by. Great location for fast shopping. Their is a high... More

The hotel is located in the middle of Shinsaibashi, definately perfect for shopper. Subway station just around the corner. You can even follow the shopping street all the way walk to Namba Train station to catch the bus to airport. Complimentary breafkast is simple japanese style but just good enough. Very happy with the honest staff as my friend left... More

It is a very old Hotel about 17yrs old but the location is superb for those who likes to go for shopping & eating outlets are surrounded too. Pls walk straight to the Namba station instead of using the shinsaibashi station for the train to Kansai Airport if you have more than 2 pcs of luaggages. As from the namba... More

The Hotel Villa Fontaine Shinsaibashi boasts a good location, but that's about it. The room was tiny, the breakfast was limited and the ambiance was generic-western hotel. We were meant to have a crib set up for our little one, but there wasn't even sufficient room to squeeze in a crib. The room was loud, the bathroom was extremely dated... More

Have long been a fan of the Villa-Fontaine hotels and based my booking on my previous experience at their Ueno hotel. I had assumed that all Villa-Fontaine hotels would be of a similar standard but sadly this is not the case. Indeed the hotel's location is excellent, but this may have lead to management's apparent apathy towards other aspects of... More

if you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere. This hotel isnt prominent, but once you locate it, you'll find it's a gem. The location is superb. Cant rem the exit number (think 9 or 10) from shinsaibashi train station. a mere 3 min walk. Hotel sits on shinsaibashi shopping street where food is readily available. there is also a 100yen shop... Clean, tiny and great location. We booked relax rooms which come with latex matress and pillow. A foot massage machine inside this tiny room. No wardrobe provided in the room. Free breakfast with limited selection. Take exit 1 from Shinsaibashi station and walk underground to North exit 8 which has escalator up to Shinsaibashi suji. Will be back if they... More
