My husband and I went on vacation to Japan where I had studied in college. I chose this hotel to stay at before catching a flight home because of the novelty of the Japanese wedding atmosphere. After college, I developed claustrophobia which was a huge inconvenience both in the hotel and at Umeda train station which is around the corner.... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in June. The hotel is quite close and convenient for Osaka station, but it doesn't really feel like a hotel at all. There is a German chapel hanging over the edge of the building (see the photo) where numerous weddings take place each day. We didn't manage to find anywhere to eat or drink on... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Monterey. A somewhat quirky establishment dedicated to serve the Japanese wedding market over the Saturday and Sunday there were 9 weddings each day!
