We stayed at the Second Inn, Umeda Oct 18 2008 for 3 nights.
It is a bussiness hotel so nothing fancy, very basic.
The rooms are very small as is usual in Japan. The bathroom was tiny.. the smallest we came across in our whole trip.
The good thing was the size of the beds. We booked a twin room and both beds were double size . There was a small plazma screen TV. A small fridge below a small closet area and a table with pull out chairs that fit into the table.I cant remember if there was a kettle but there probably was .
The downside with this hotel was that you could not be in your room from 10am till 4pm for cleaning .
We didn't find this out untill we came back at 3pm our first day as our daughter was tierd and so were we. We just sat outside on a step to wait then 10 mins later the reception lady walked past and saw us. She came straight back and said its ok cleaning has finished you can go into your room.
