We stayed two nights in D'oriental Inn, Kl. I must say it was really worth a price. The beds are simple but clean and very comfortable. The housemaids have done an excellent job. This is a great hotel for the money. Helpful staff, very clean rooms with good aircon and water pressure. Tiny TVs with not much English, no fridge. Great Chinatown location. We had no problem with noise. The breakfast was adequate, hot, not thrilling. If you are planning to be out sightseeing all day, this is a great place to stay.... more

If you are arriving in the afternoon or evening, you will not be able to get a taxi straight to the hotel as the street it is on sets up night markets (which are excellently located once you have your bags in your room!). Being right in the middle of the markets, this hotel is a bit tricky to get to, but well worth it.
