i checked in to shangri la kula lampur and as our flight reached in the morning we straight away headed for the breakfast at the restaurant after that i went into my room which was on the 20th floor and the view was magnificent as the sky train was just opposite the hotel and it was a busy street area.... more

We checked in early , rather too early (0700 hrs) and they did not charge for the day, and gave us the complimentaqry breakfast as well. I was fortunate to get the 11th floor room with a view of Petronas tower. I think this hotel is the best when it comes to location for stay in Kuala Lumpur. Close to Petronas (10 minute walk), 10 minute drive to china town and to some of the best shopping places and other important not to miss sightseeing destinations.... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 5 nights at the end of May. Upgrade to a Club Room was well worth the extra. The Club is exceptional! The breakfast spread, evening cocktails and snacks were extensive. The Club Lounge does not allow children under the age of 12 entry and this was most appreciated. I only stayed in Shangri-La for a couple nights in late May 2009. But I love the convenience of location, and great view from my room. It's right next to the busy bar street, it doesn't get any better than this. more
