Had a few nights at Le Meridien on the way back from Europe, and was greatly impressed. I upgraded our original booking to a Royal Club room and that ended up a great decision. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, with a clean and spacious bathroom. We also made very regular use of the Royal Club lounge, with complimentary... more

Had two stays in the Le Meridien however the overall stay wasn't that impressive at all. The check in process was average. We were staying in this property for a stopover of our honeymoon and we were traveling to and from KLIA and thanks to John Selva for his arrangement for our special occasion. One thing to look into is... more

I had previously stayed at the Hilton KL which is next to Le Meridien and thus expected Le Meridien to be of similar standard. I was very disappointed and regretted choosing this hotel. The rooms were very old-fashioned like they were stuck in the 90s even though the hotel was completed in early 2000s. The bathroom design and amenities were... more

Having travelled to KL many times over the last 12 months and nearly always stayed at the Hilton Sentral, having checked out the Sheraton and Mandarin too...I thought I would try the sister hotel next door..... On paper it was cheaper....until you start adding the breakfast and internet charges, at which point you start to feel a little let-down. I... more

It isnt like stone slab mattresses are my peeve (read my other reviews), but I just seem unlucky enough to be writing about another "apolitho̱méno stró̱ma" ... . What the heck does that mean? Google doesnt translate into Latin; they do do Greek so here is a college try at saying petrified mattress in Greek. Don't stay at this hotel.... more

We chose the Le Meridian due to its location near the station but it was a mistake. We had cockroaches in the coffee cup in the premier room. The fairly expensive buffet dinner had an Indian section which looked attractive. Unfortunately, looks are deceptive. The Fish kababs had ice cold centres- obviously a badly heated attempt! The Indian section in the... more

Thank you for sharing your comments with us as it has allowed us to act immediately. Our pest management company (a global leading company) have doubled their efforts in investigating this matter. The pest elimination specialists currently does not have the answer as they did not find any infestation at all, thus leaving us with only one conclusion, that the...

This was the first time I've stayed at the Le Meridien - usually we would stay at Traders (another great hotel) for its location. I wanted to try something different this time and was very pleased with this hotel. The service was impeccable, room was lovely and quiet, and the location was only a short taxi ride from my fav... more

Dear JellyBean: Thanks for choosing to stay at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur – we appreciate your business and are happy to read that you enjoyed your experience with us. I agree, Bangsar is a great little area on the city – The Daily Grind serves great burgers whilst the many smaller Indian restaurants are great too. The swimming pool (Level...

So our second stop in Southeast Asia was Kuala Lumpur and didn’t know what Starwood hotel to stay at. We booked the Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights only to find out later that it would work perfect for us in many ways, speaking of location! From the airport we caught the express train to KL station and guess... more

Great location for KLIA express train from Airport. Very impressive hotel lobby. However, room smelled of dampness and the bath was very narrow with poor water pressure. Also poor attention to detail: as 2 people checked in, would have expected 2 cups and 2 bathrobes, instead of only one.!!Room service was excellent. View from room fabulous at night. Having spent... more

Thanks for discovering Kuala Lumpur from a different perspective; KL Sentral. We are glad that you travelled into the city on the KLIA Express train – the fastest (just 28 minutes) way into the city centre and have taken note of your comments and have addressed this with our team and will act accordingly. We look forward to welcoming you...

It's right across the road from the central train station which has an express to the airport! Rates were much more competitive than the hilton next door. Food in restaurant was great and service was first class. Bathroom in royal club suite had some issues. more

Thanks for staying at Le Meridien – you are right, the KLIA Express train is the fastest (just 28 minutes) way from the airport. It’s great to read that you enjoyed our cuisine – one of Le Meridien’s passion points and I hope you got to try our Jean Georges breakfast experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to...
