Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went to visit Luckyhiya Hotel but found its room to be very dark and dingy with horrible bathrooms. Even the service was terrible. I had to wait a good ten minutes before someone could show me around. A terrible place. Do not go there unless you are homeless!

Stayed one night before transferring to another island. Paid $68 for a night in a terrible room with a bed that had all the signs for bed bugs. The bed only had a fitted sheet, no sheets or blankets. The staff was nice, but the accommodations were horrendous for the price. Find a different place to stay in Male.

Beyond basic but ok for travellers. The lift works, reception friendly, didn't eat there, air conditioning like an in-room tractor, working shower and toilet - all clean but very tired. Sink just leaked all over floor. Beds rock hard and evidence of bugs :(

Since I want to get to the ferry pier by 8:30am to catch one to omadhoo and don't want to spend the night sleeping in male airport, I booked a room online just two days in advance. The hotel is not located along the main streets but the friendly local people were kind and show me the proper direction. The hotel was only a 5 minutes walk from the airport ferry pier , use your smart phone and download a map for navigation. You don't have to spend the money for picking you up from airport - you will need to take the same public ferry and walk the same distance, anyway. There was a lift so I didn't find it difficult to move the stuffs into the room and the check in was fast. There was a TV in the room but I was to tired to watch any programme. Luckily my room was quiet enough. The breakfast was very good, even came with brew coffee. Male was so small that I walked from the hotel to the ferry pier in around 20 minutes.

This is my first time to check-in on this hotel coz most of hotels in male are fully booked, The room is very small and so expensive. I don't feel safe as well coz you need to pass on a small street to reach the hotel. i better try other hotels next time

Triple room was so small, that it was hard go around three beds. Air-conditioner, TV, wi-fi, bathroom accessories - everything were fine, there was no need to ask personnel to fix. Breakfast is typical for Maldives - fried eggs, sausages, toasts. Room was clean. I really appreciated that it had a free room to stay a night when our ferry was cancelled.

Rooms are very small. Not too neat and bathrooms are very small too. I mean I have stayed in all the types of room they have to offer and I personally think that being an old hotel, the prices are a bit too high. I would recommend this hotel for short time visitors for like one or two night. They have 24/7 restaurant and that's the only best thing about this hotel. However, the staff are very helpful and very welcoming. They do provide laundry and ironing service at an extra charge. Hope this review is helpful.

Taken here for 1 night by tour guide after the midnight ferry was cancelled. Would never stay here again or recommend this place. Old, dark, and better places to stay elsewhere. Staff weren't friendly at all. Flimsy lock on the door, no room safe. Kept awake all night by banging and noises outside the window - found out in the morning that all the water pumps for the hotel were right outside the window. Pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else in Male.

I had a late flight in the night so i need to find some hotel in Male to stay. My friend booked this hotel for me for 1 night. the hotel is close to the main road for souvenir, ADK hospital and apt jetty. the room is good and clean. look modern compare to the other, no dinning available in the hotel.so I need to call and order from outside to delivery it to my room . In all i had a nice and comfortable sleep and stayed.
