Booked online (you can get better rates with an lonie booking agent than paying the hotel directly). Reception was clean and the staff well presented and attentive. We stayed in the 2nd floor of the hotel in a deluxe twin room, very nice room, but the smell of the cigarette starts from the hallway.. Very happy with our choice to stay here. While the area surrounding the hotel isn't that nice (it is Manila, after all) it is very close to a nice big mall, and a short cab ride to Rizal Park. Actually this hotel is relatively good value among the pricy hotels in the Philippines. However, I am very unlucky that I was assigned a room which is in the centre of the building. They said that there is a machine of releasing heat of the hotel installed in the centre of the building. So, it is extremely noisy at night.... more

Based on other reviews of this hotel I chose to stay for 3 nights but could not stay the third. I have to agree that the location is good and that the staff were courteous. The room was clean but was both small and dated. A tiny bathroom with a telephone beside the toilet. I guess that is for those... more

I stayed with my family and ather and other inlaw for onw week, the roomes where clean and tidy, stuff were so accommodating, restaurant in 5th floor, and it's near to Robenson Mall. more

The Pearl Lane Hotel is the cleanest 3 star hotel in Manila that I have stayed in and I have been going to Manila since 1985. This could be because it is a new hotel but the staff there are always cleaning corridors etc. The rooms are very good I stayed in their Superior room and could not fault it... more
