i stayed in this hotel( manila pavillion) for from November 18-21 07 for purposes of accomodation during the period of our participation in a national debate competition. On November 19 at around 7:30 am, we left the hotel. prior to our departure, I had seized my bag of things I had to bring. My wallet was there but I decided... more

I stayed at the Manila Pavillion for 3 nights prior to flying back home. The price was good compared to other nearby hotels. As others have said, the lobby area and other common areas are very nice. Our rooms were not bad by any means. It was a standard hotel room size and cleanliness wise. It may have been a... more

Just don't do it. Like other reviews, the lobby appears adequate, but once in your room (mine 19th floor), you will be disgusted. What was left of the carpet was absolutely filthy. The room smelled of spunk, and would appear to be the type of room one would rent by the hour. My wife and I turned around and checked... more

Ok, so I'm reading the reviews and now I realize I'm not the only one. We arrived at the MP and from the downstairs lobby, it looked like a nice place. That was until we arrived in our room. The stains on the floor looked liked there was a fight. It was all over the room. When my mom went... more

I was dumbfounded when I came in this hotel. I unfortunately ended up in this hotel as because of the last minute changes. Once you get into the elevator and landed in the hall ( we were at the 19th floor ) you could smell the stench and see the whole floor area with stains and blots. It was disgusting.... more

The lobby and restaurants of the hotel are very nice. Our room was incredibly out-dated and more than ready for a remodel. Lower floors (so I heard) had been remodeled. Swimming pool was not inviting, though it looked clean. Husband got a massage and was quite impressed with the facility. Workout room small, but had the necessary items. Walking distance... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel last week on the last night of our holiday before flying back to the UK. After a 10 day trip staying in high standard accommodation in a condo apartment in Manila and boutique hotel in Boracay this supposedly 4 star hotel was a serious dissappointment. At first glance the lobby looks pretty... more

We have been travelling for the last 10 years and we have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we had the worse experienced ever. I would not rate this hotel as 4* as it should only be 1*. All the staff are rude including - Reception, door man, bar man and etc. Dont let the lobby trick you,... more

I saw this place 10 years ago when it was Holiday Inn still and their room looked nice and clean. I wouldn't be reviewing since this happened last year but right now we are planning to go to Manila again and are shopping for hotels and I found this website. When I came back in august 2008 with my husband... more
