Angora House is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Turkey. The location in the Citadel within easy walking distance to the great Anthropology Museum was perfect. But it was the room that we adored. My husband and I are both extremely tall and were getting quite use to having our toes hang off our Turkish beds.... more

Ankara needs more than one night & Angora House definitely needs two nights. This warm & inviting Ottoman style house is large & has rooms to match. We arrived into Ankara at 11pm and needed a place for the night. Since this was our honeymoon, I did careful researching for our hotels and angora house turned up as the only place worth staying. We caught an airport shuttle into Ulus and then hailed a cab for a couple lira who dropped us right at the hotel's doorstep.... more

This beautiful boutique hotel, with a wonderful location in Ankara’s Citidel, is a treasure. Our large room was filled with antiques. We stayed one night at the Angora House so that we could take our time exploring the Museum, the Citadel, and the Anitkabir. What a great decision--the Angora House was a lovely place to stay.
