I have been visiting Patara and The Pataros hotel since 2000, and have to say it is one of my favourite places to stay - it's almost my second home! There are a few other places to stay in Patara, but The Pataros has the added bonus of having a lovely big swimming pool, which on many occasions we haven't had to share with anyone else all day! The hotel website has a photo gallery, and really the hotel is exactly like the pictures show.
The rooms are really comfortable, but quite simply furnished. They have air-con and mozzie nets and there was always hot water for a shower. They were cleaned every day and kept spotless.The staff are really friendly and helpful - you only have to ask and if they can help they will. And the room prices are dead reasonable - most important!!
The hotel is set towards the back of the village, but literally just a few minutes away from the vilage centre, which is dead relaxed and
