Well just arrived back today from the kassandra beach hotel in bitez, Turkey, and it is the worse hotel i have ever stayed in.
The websites say 3* it is just about pushing a 1*.
They do not cater for the English at all, and i spoke to the rep who admitted he had only had 12 English people through the door since April !!
don't be fooled by internet photos of this hotel, It needs a massive amount of money spending on it to modernize it, they also need to sack the chef,
The food was so bad we had to eat out for the full 2 weeks,
breakfast was typical Turkish Breakfast which is nice, (Hard boiled eggs, bread, hams, olives,natural yoghurt etc.) but along with the hard boiled eggs you are offered tinned hot dog sausage in tomato sauce and god forbid its not eaten as it will reappear at lunch with a tin of sweetcorn added, then if its still not eaten a tin of pea's is added and it comes out at the evening meal, I even pointed this out to the bar man who said yes he... more
